I want to buy a helmet cam for a friend that he can use when he's riding/racing his dirt bike. I've considered bulletcam.com and helmetcam.com and don't know which is better. Bullet cams or other types? One says they make them themselves, stabilizing every part and offer quick-release feature; but the other says it offers better camera protection w/ better video than the bullet cams. What line resolution should I get? 380/480/560? What features/accessories are essential? And what kind of camcorder can I get for a decent price that will go with the helmet cam and render good videos? (I know I have to have input capability). Thanks for any help! I'm clueless.

What are the fundamental differences, and what are the reasons they're different?
In a pinch, can an ATV helmet be worn when riding a motorcycle, or is the protection it offers somehow unsuitable for motorcycle riding?
Thanks!

I am trying to find out the smallest size made tha's t is DOT approved for ATV and snowmobile. My ex claims to have an "infant" helmet that he uses when my 1 year old goes on the snowmobile with him.
I live in Michigan and the law requires that all passangers where a DOT approved helmet that fits correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
